If selling items off to NPCs is not making you the Kinah you think it should, you can always put your Items up for consignment with the Trade Broker. Items are added to lists where other players can sort through and shop for what they want. When you sell something through a Trade Broker, it will cost you a small fee proportionate to the sale price you set.
1. The Category section lists out all sellable item types
2. Selecting the Category type then the specific item type will list all available items for sale to the right.
3. Items can be sorted at the top by Name, Level, and Price.
4. Item you can use will be shown normally. You can purchase any item for sale.
5. Items you can not currently use by skill or level are shown in red.
6. Item Rarity is denoted by the color of the item name.
7. If you know the specific name of the item you are looking for you can use the search function.
When you select the Register Tab, it will automatically bring up your inventory window. To add things into the Register, you can right-click on them or drag and drop. If you have stacks of items you wish to split into smaller stacks, it is best to do so from your
Inventory, prior to attempting to drop them into the Register. You may have up to 10 items for sale, at any one time, with the Trade Broker.
After you decide what you wish to sell, you need to set a price. When you add an item to the Register, a pop-up will appear asking for a selling price. You will be provided with a predetermined amount based on the asking price from NPC Vendors. This will help you gauge the value of the item you are attempting to sell, without having to keep a constant eye on vendor pricing. Remember that vendor pricing will change depending on strife in the Abyss.
Depending upon the amount that you are asking, a fee will be assessed for the Trade Broker’s service. This can be as low as 10 Kinah, but can be much larger, depending on the asking price. Once you click OK, your item will be on the market and will be listed for 8 days.
If you decide to remove an item before the sale period has ended or the item has been purchased, there will be no penalty. However, any registration fees you paid to place the item will not be reimbursed.
If you have sold items, or you have items that have been listed for 8 days and have not sold, then you will need to settle your account. Return to a Trade Broker, select the Settle Account Tab, and press the settle account button at the bottom. The items will be returned to your inventory, and the earned Kinah will be deposited to your inventory. Anytime you have either sold items or their time is up, you will receive a server message telling you that you have items to tend to on your Trade Broker.
