Stigma Stones are imbued with the souls of past Daevas. The power of these souls allows one to equip the stone and receive an ability they would not normally be able to use due to their class or level.
Some stones give the bearer a passive skill such as the ability to equip a weapon not normally available to their class, while other stones can allow the use of offensive or defensive abilities.
Use of Stigma Stones is a privilege given to all Daevas. However, before being able to use Stigma Stones, each individual must complete a Campaign quest that leads them to the appropriate Stigma Master for their faction at level 20. Once completed the quest will award the first Stigma Stone available as well as a number of Stigma Shards. These shards are used as payment to the Stigma Master in order for a Daeva to socket a Stigma Stone.
As mentioned the first Stigma Stone you receive will be from either of the faction Campaign quests available to you at level 20. However, more Stigma Stones can be found as random loot from defeated opponents. |
There is a Stigma Master for each race located in their appropriate capital city.

Once you have spoken to the Stigma Master and asked that they assist you with equipping a Stigma Stone, your profile window will open to the Stigma tab. Drag the stone you wish to equip to an available slot. Once the stone is placed a confirmation window will pop up asking you to confirm this action. This window also informs you of the cost (in Stigma Shards) of equipping the stone. The cost is based on the level of the stone you attempting to equip; the higher the level the more shards you will need to equip the stone. The shards can be found by hunting creatures in the Abyss.
Stigma Shard cost is four times the level of the stone:
Stigma Stone Level | Stigma Shard Cost | Stigma Stone Level | Stigma Shard Cost | Stigma Stone Level | Stigma Shard Cost |
20 | 80 | 29 | 116 | 38 | 152 |
21 | 84 | 30 | 120 | 39 | 156 |
22 | 88 | 31 | 124 | 40 | 160 |
23 | 92 | 32 | 128 | 41 | 164 |
24 | 96 | 33 | 132 | 42 | 168 |
25 | 100 | 34 | 136 | 43 | 172 |
26 | 104 | 35 | 140 | 44 | 176 |
27 | 108 | 36 | 144 | 45 | 180 |
28 | 112 | 37 | 148 | -- | -- |
The exception to the above table concerns Stigma Stones that will be usable by different classes at different levels. When this occurs the cost will be multiplied by the lower of the two levels. For example: Armor of Balance I is a skill that a 34 Templar can use as well as a 37 Gladiator. The cost to equip this Stone would be as if both classes equipped it at 34 (136 Stigma Shards).

If you wish to replace an existing Stigma Stone, you must first remove it. This action must be done by the Stigma Master, however it does not cost anything to do this.
Once you complete the level 20 Campaign quest for your faction that leads to your first Stigma Stone you will also open up two slots to equip them in. After that a new slot will be available every 10 levels.
