Improving Flight
Overview
You may find that the initial 60 seconds of flight time isn’t enough when you are trying to extract Aether from the sky or engage in flight combat. However, like any being learning to fly, it will take some time to hone your skills and it’s almost inevitable that you will fall at some point.
This section will cover the different ways to increase your flight time and speed.
Flight Skills and Rewards - Abyss Preparation
You will acquire your first Quest with flight rewards at level 10. The reward will be a passive flight skill, dependent on your race/class, which will boost your flight attributes.
At level 25 you will automatically receive the ’Abyss Entry Quest’ series. Finishing all of the series will allow you access to the Abyss and two of the four Quests offer flight related rewards.
These Quests will be rather challenging and will test your skills. The last of the four in the series is a rather difficult flying test that will also get you famililar with Flight Rings. Upon success, you will receive a flight skill that, amongst other things, will boost your flight speed by 33%.

Flight Armor and Accessories
The best way to increase your flight time is through armor and accessories that possess flight attributes. Not all armor pieces can have flight attributes, such as boots, but if you obtain every armor piece that can contain flight attributes, you can easily boost your base flight time (before potions, scrolls, food) to several minutes.

Wing Tuners
At Level 29 you will automatically receive a Quest that will lead you to a Wing Tuner where you can purchase different Wing Feathers that will boost your flight time.
Elyos Quest: Idomeneus’s Letter
Asmodian Quest: Huron’s Letter
Wing Feathers are relatively expensive and the lowest level feather is 30. Wing Feathers change the appearance of your wings and improve your flight time. These items can be equipped and removed like any other armor or accessory and add +30 or more to your flight time.
